Divx pocket mvp problem

Ive installed the latest version of pocket mvp on my e200, and im finding that for some reason after about 12 mins my movies jump out of the program and stop..... You can go back to pocket mvp but the file doesn't carry on playing. Along with the annoying reboot issue after you play a file this is pretty bad! anyone got any ideas what the problem is?

Also i would use wmv files, BUT the phone doesn't play wmp9 files, and ive upgraded my pc, and cant go back. Mpegs create enormous files for pocket tv so if anyone has any solutions, or any idea how to make small divx to mpeg conversions for pocket tv i'd be grateful. Cheers John

Sorry mate, you ain't ever gonna get smaller MPG's from DivX AVI's. PocketTV plays MPEG1's which are ancient (In computer terms at least). DivX is much newer and uses far better encoding algorythms which means they are smaller, but require more processing power (But with PCs advancing everyday, this isn't a problem). As such the final files are smaller but with comparable bit-rates.

I must admit I'm surprised at the PocketMVP problem. I've never heard of similar problems from other people with an E200 (I'm on an original SPV). Are you sure you got the latest variant for the E200?

PS: As an aside, anyone else remember when an MPEG1 decoder card was needed? Nowadays you need a dedicated 3D decoder card!
