Guest OneFishTwoFish Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 It's upgrade time, so finally I can get a decent phone and stop feeling inadequate in front of my mates. Orange have offered me a good upgrade deal, so I'll stick with them. But do I go for the SPV e200 (which is free) or the Nokia 6600 (which is £80)? I heart Nokias, but is it £80 better than the SPV? And is it - like most new-release Nokias - full of bugs? Onefish.
Guest kelv23 Posted January 23, 2004 Report Posted January 23, 2004 i don't think you're going to get too many impartial replies on that one! Its a question of what you want your phone to do.Not that much experience of Nokias and when I went to buy a phone last i was told to stay away (my mate works in a shop) he's been returning 25 out of 100 Nokias with some sort of problem.25% returns aren't a good signal really.if you fancy shelling out £80 extra thats up to you,I'd go for the E200 as its free for a start, get it application unlocked, download smartweak 2 to customise it,whack a 256mb card in and away you go.I think with the Nokia you have the card slot under the battery which is a pain,on the SPV its on the side much easier, plus Nokias ar common as hell and look a bit tacky too, theyre a bit like the Ford of the mobile phone world,do their job Ok but look and feel a bit hashed together.
Guest siu99spj Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 Or be even cooler and wait for the MPx220 (Like me who could have upgraded in December)
