I had a Buzzing e200 and now I have recieved a second E200. The first phone I recieved 4 orange sms message. I read the first then deleted the rest. I had buzzing so I took the phone back. They gave me a new one at carphone warehouse. I tested the new one at the shop and this one 2 was buzzing a little. So i said to the bloke ill take it home and see how i get on.

The bloke in the shop said when I first turn it on I would get these 4 text message which i must open for updates to the sim. This time I opened all the messages and the buzzing seems to have gone away. Its early days but could this of fixed the problem?

Cheers

The thing is...

If you hard reset your phone you get the updates again! So some updates must be for the phone

Can't see how a SIM update could fix the buzzing.

Agreed.

Mmm ... very interesting!

So, really you are saying that you're buzzing e200 has been TOTALLY FIXED and now has CRYSTAL CLEAR RECEPTION?? And this is after recieving sim-update text messages?? And this is on a handset which HAD the buzzing speaker in the first place??

Can you give us all the details about what sim updates you recieved?

Maybe if this did work for you, we can push tech support on more info?

Interesting indeed, I can't remember what i did with the sim updates on my phone. I doubt, but hope this may have some effect. :?

Edit: well i'm sorry to report this has had no discernable effect on the buzzing on my phone. Worth a try tho.
