(This is only for MPx's only (and C500??)) Right then here we go....

[update]Added Star Wars III teaser, these are done on new settings i made for BetaPlayer.....[/update]

This is where I have got to on my new vDub settings for the MPx200, so I NEED FEEDBACK (yes that means you too /you )!

NEW!!!

Van Helsing Trailer:MPx Edition

-new (much higher) audio settings-

Spider Man 2:MPx Edition

install PocketMVP.

Make sure you end all running tasks (use a task manager).

And off you go...

Now tell me your findings so i can fine tune.

Scrap the reg key for now, will build a cab and see how that goes!

(Something to do with the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM branch being locked down by default?)

[uPDATE]: Built a CAB file to change the reg key HERE

///////////////////// Try if you like ////////////////////////////

First things first time to fiddle with the reg!

Change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/GDI/GLYPHCACHE/limit to 40960

(This will speed up your whole phone!! i am still tessting this so do this at your own risk!)

Reboot?

Had me worried as well . For a moment I thought maybe I had posted something bad in the past.

If I was a guest reader would it say 'and that means you Guest' ?

hmm won't alloy me to change the reg value :?

so all I get is a nice green screen.

errr, this wont speed up movie playback, the glyph cache is a font cache for storing all text information, so movies, games, music etc will not be improved

Yeh, but i just want everyone to be on the same level, when i get close to having them done i will test with the standard cache size. Anyway, it means i can get people testing that cache size too!

Right, I've tested the Van Helsing trailer, and it's blinding.

I haven't been able to change that reg key tho (same issue as awarner).

Going to try Killbill now, happy days!

24 fps!!!! wow! Audio quality is noticeably poor even through the speaker tho.

And as far as trailers themselves go the Kill Bill one sucks arse! But that's not your fault

Like i said 24fps!!!!! WOW

Yeh, good eh? stick that in your pipe PocketTV!!!

As far as the audio, its the same settings as My vDub Settings v2, not touched them yet!

Oh and the Kill Bill one is a leaked Teaser, so don't be too harsh as were not suppose to have it!

I don't seem to have an FPS indicator anywhere, where do you tell from MVP? Or am I using an old version?

You gunna tease me anymore Clint, or give me your settings to play with!

Got my SD reader yesterday so I can copy Friends episodes to watch on the train :D

It doesn't have one, it's what it's encoded too, before (SPV) i could only get this quality at 10fps (although there is one that i made that would run at 25fps but droped frames).

There not finished yet, soon, very soon.... (just need feedback)

ah, fairy nuff.

Well that'll do me!

WHen I see my mate, I'll test them on his e200.

God i love this phone!! It's kicking 7 shades out of the SPV's as far as DivX goes!!!

Added Spider Man 2 to the first post, it has MUCH higher settings for audio quality.

Picked Spider man 2 because it's a lot more hard work for the phone.

Tell me what you think.

Like you said, a lot more demanding, hence the compression artifacts are more visible, but the phone copes well, and perfectly watchable.

Sound is much better also.

This phone is becoming a bit of a powerhouse!
