**** Activesync won't recognise my device! WHY?! ****

please help - this is windows 98se. I have plugged my phone into the usb and have installed activesync - but it will not make a connection.

Any ideas?

Did you plug the phone into the PC before installing Activsync?

The other problem you have is Win98 it's not the best for USB support :?

Also are you using a USB hub? this can also cause problems.
