Guest nora2003 Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Ive just got my new spv e200 and love it to bits!! But what I have noticed is when I run applications like the camera or media player or anything, when I check the task manager its saying the application is still running, this is taking up memory and slowing down my nes emulator!! How do I stop this happening? Or is this a normal occurance? Thanks!!

Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 24, 2004 Report Posted January 24, 2004 Also apps that are in the background should not be using any cpu time.
Guest MPXtricky Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 They may not be using any CPU whilst in the background, but a loaded task will still occupy memory won't it? I always off any unused apps when running an emulator.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 It will use a little memory and I agree close any apps etc when playing a memory hungry app like Doom or PocketMVP
