Guest equis Posted January 25, 2004 Report Posted January 25, 2004 I read 2-3 days ago on the Yahoo news thread (which I can't find now) that Cingular has put up some serious bids to acquire ATT wireless. The merger would make them the number one wireless carrier in the US. I want to find out more details because I loathe Cingular they have poor reception atrocious customer service. I left Sprint just based on the sophomoric customer service I received time and time again through the past 4 years of my subscription. Sprint had the best reception I have seen in my area where ATT, Cingular, and even Nextel would lose their signal. All I can find are old articles when Cingular was playing around with the idea, I want to find out how serious they are at this point in time.

Guest rh0926 Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Just heard on the news this morning about AT&T being the WORST as far as complaints (anyhting from reception issues, to bad customer service, to number portability). I just hope somebody buys them.....and FAST! (still waiting for a better data plan)
