Activesync doen't recognise me!

Since obtaining SPVE200 my laptop connection (W2000) sets up new partnership but next time I connect (after shutting down) it asks me to set up a new partnership all over again. It tells me that previous partnership exists because I must choose a new name each time.

Partnership with home PC (W98) works fine.

Very frustrating because my laptop is my work computer.

Can anyone help?

where C should be replaced with the your system drive if applicable and Administrator is your user name. If that folder is empty it might be related to windows security.

Also when u set it up on the w98 machine did u insure that you selected that the device will be used on 2 machines??
