Guest evilminky Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 has anyone got their spv sending and recieving mms on o2 pay as you go 300 text tariff ? if so what settings are u using?
Guest jonblakeburn Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 I'd LOVE to know the answer to this. I'm on O2's pay-monthly tarrifs, and I can't for the life of me get the MMS Settings working.
Guest Lewman Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Well ive managed to send an MMS successfuly to myself (well it deducted the credit) but when i came to look at the MMS message all that was in my inbox was 2 msgs that were blank and said were from 8020. Couldnt see the image i just sent anywhere! Any ideas? -Lew
Guest primeraracer Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 yep I got it working fine on mine. use the settings from the repository over in the articles forum. Page 2. what you do need to remember is that MMS isnt enabled by default on your sim card so you have to ring up O2 and get them to activate it for you before it will work! Hope this helps.... if not I'll repost the settings here.
Guest jonblakeburn Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 I'd be really grateful if you could post the settings here Primeraracer! I've been trying for ages to try and interpret the SPV/E100 settings into something I could get to work on the E200, but it won't have any of it! What connection is it using (GPRS/WAP 1.1/WAP 2.0) ? What settings do you have in the actual MMS setup screen? Cheers!
Guest primeraracer Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 yeah the MMS works through GPRS thats why you must ensure its enabled on your simcard first. I'll post up what settings I have on my SPV later on mate
Guest jonblakeburn Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 Thanks mate, I just couldn't get the GPRS settings to connect at all! I have GPRS enabled, and have done since joining O2 a year ago. What do you have in the "Gateway" box of the MMS Connection setup? I've tried Wap 1.1, Wap 2.0 and Using HTTP, but I can't get a connection with any!
