My Alarm wont stop going off every morning..... HELP ! ! ! !

My Alarm clock wont stop going off at 5:45am every morning.......This is the time I set my Alarm for when I've got work, but it keeps on going off on my days off.

I've checked all appointment and they and set to "Once", I've even deleted every single appointment entry, but it still keeps going off.

Every night I check the calander and it show no appointment/alarms/reminders etc, and the B***DY thing still goes off

Can I have som help please!!!! If not for my sanity, for the wife's!

Go to Settings -> Date and Time and make sure the alarm in there is not set. It could be that which is continually going off.

If it isn't that, aside from a hard reset (Which I'm loathe to recommend) I don't know what it could be...

I think siu99spj is spot on with his solution. If this doesn't fix it, however, I've read earlier versions of the SPV ROM (don't know if 1.6 has had it fixed) had an irritating bug with alarm/time. If you had an alarm set, but then changed the time on the SPV the alarm time remained even when it was supposedly disabled. Do you have an SPV and, if so, what ROM version are you running?

If it's not in Settings then have you ever changed your Time Zone? this messed me up, and I had to do a Hard Reset as siu99spj says. Just make sure you've checked Settings first, cos it sounds like you're checking Calendar, which is where Reminders are set but not the Alarm.

Well it does seems to be set on in date and time, so I've turned it off and will find out in the morning (or not I hope!)

The thing is, I don't actually recall setting it via the date/time menu, I always do it via the appointment screen.....strange

i've had the same problem, no matter what i do it goes off at 7.50am and if i set a different alarm time then it goes off at the new time and at 7.50am.

i think i have accidentally moved the region settings and with Daylight savings i think one of them have screwed it up.....

As an experiment try resetting the alarm for 7.50

then disable it again. Just an idea as I have never had this problem.

this used to be very common but ive not seen it for ages - perhaps its been fixed in smartphone 2003.

it tends to happen if you change the alarm or the time after hitting the snooze...

solution as awarner says - set alarm to time its going off and enable then disable

I had this problem in the past when I set an alarm while in one timezone then switched timezones. The alarm could not be turned off until I switched back to the timezone where the alarm was set.
