Guest minty_pete Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Hi, This is my first time on the forum although I read coolsmartphone.com and this site often. I am not a novice by any means (well, thats what I like to think :-). I have just hard reset my phone and I have unlocked it for use with an o2 sim, which has worked in the past, but now up the top I get "Network Denied, Searching". This is a constant message and I have attempted to resolve it by means of a hard reset and also a sim unlock again but neither worked. Could someone please help?? Thanks, "A desperate" Pete
Guest minty_pete Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 Panic over, it would appear that by updating the ROM from the orange website, all is fine now...could anyone explain why the phone went like this?

It's possible that you had the network selection set to manual and the current network set to Orange in Settings-Telephony-Networks. If so, you would either change the network selection to Automatic or manually select the O2 network. By default the network selection is automatic
