Can't send SMS from Smartphone 2002 (i-mate)

Dear all,

I have the i-Mate Smartphone 2002 and was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I have with sendind SMS messages.

Every now and then, when I choose "new" or "reply" to an incoming message, the phone gets stuck and refuses to enter the message writing interface. This usually lasts for 2-3 days and then works again on its own.

I tried re-installing the updating operating system but that didn't work either. Anyone with previous experience in this problem? The only other option I see is to either throw the phone away, or ship it back to the manufacturer with a note saying that they should be ashamed from releasing such a bad product.

This can be caused by lack of space on the phone

Check how much space you have on the IPSM as a lot of SMS and

ringtones etc can stop the phone being able to send messages as the

phone caches the message first befpre sending it.
