Guest solaris Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 Hi guys I have the spv e200 very good phone though i have been l;ooking around for a keyboard for it i have seen the keyboard that is orange branded. Does this work with the spv e200 threy seem to be marked for the SPV and SPVx only. I have spoken to orange and they say there is a version being released in a couple of weeks anyone heard of this? thanks guys mike
Guest jordy Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 Yep, the Orange "floppy" keyboard will work with the E200 after installing the orange update. Shortcut keys on the top don't work for some reason. Picked one up myself a couple of weekends ago 1/2 price from an Orange store £50 down to £25. Pretty good, but like a review mentioned, the keys have no feedback so can be a bit hard on the fingers if you're writting your memoirs. If you work near a PC most of the day (and your employer will let you, or won't know or worry) use the activsync remote display as you can still charge your phone via USB. nb Remote display works fine over BT as well.

Guest pwoodhouse1 Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 i just recived a couple of hours ago the e200 keyboard. free from fones4free.com "because i ordered in december" the letter that came with it said. funny cos i actually ordered it in november lol. Heres some pics of it. its ok for typing once you get used to it, useless for games though i've found so far. When you first connect it the keyboard application that you downloaded from orange update pops up and takes you though a calibration wizard, then thats it, works perfectly.
