Guest scottt Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 You got to laugh at how much debate a bit of tinfoil can cause. If it aint broke - hit it with a hammer !
Guest Jasonkruys Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 So anyone get increased reception with this?
Guest roke Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 As a matter of fact, it is a scientific fact that this will work. And yes, I just tried it and it works.
Guest MECX Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 why does the post title say batery life?
Guest Panja Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 Nothing to do with the battery life mut with the signal strenght. But does it actually work? I'm to scared to try it because I dont want to f*ck my new e200...
Guest ClintEastman Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 If it does work (you would think than the manufacturer would get the shielding right to start with) and you lived in an area that had poor to no signal, then I guess it would improve battery life as I wouldn't go seeking for a cell all the time (which uses more power than normal).

Guest Panja Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 I tried it yesterday on my e200 and didn't work... Can someone, that has a phone that improved after this, post some pics of the setup? Tnx
Guest v1nn1e Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 I am unsure where to put the foil, the picture in the link is very poor. Maybe someone who has got this working on their e200 can post a picture.
Guest kalinte Posted January 31, 2004 Report Posted January 31, 2004 hmm maybe it works like the airial of the television. it redirects the siganl. never saw the need to try it though.
