Guest rickt Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 I interchanged my t-mobile sim cards between my nokia and spv the other day and now I have a 'G' on the top of the screen on my spv...is this normal ?..am I being charged 4 this? . Also, I missed a call today and have no means of finding out who it was ...how can I find out who the caller was on my spv ? it just has 'unknown' in call history.many thanks
Guest James Posted January 28, 2004 Report Posted January 28, 2004 the 'G' is normal mate, it just means GPRS its avalible. the missed call says 'Unknown' when the caller witheld their number... try phoning it yourself and testing it...

I'm on t-mobile contract and paygo[two sim cards[nokia& spv]], can I send/recieve e-mails , search the web etc with this setup or do I have to pay for this service?. The reason I bought the spv in the first place was to be able to recieve e-mails, but ,I get the impression its an additional service for which I must pay extra.Can you enlighten me please?

You can set the SPV up to receive email using it as a modem and connecting through a dial up ISP but it connects at 9K6 and you will have to pay normal call rate (or use inclusive minutes)
