HELP PLEASE - spv screen disappears when using active sync

i'm trying to put pocket music onto my phone. i click on file, it downloads from pc to SPV 2002. active sync comes on pc screen. download completed on pc screen. a screen comes up on SPV saying installing, but this screen disappears in a sec or two. how can i correct this problem, so i can install the application onto the phone?
