Guest kelv23 Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 i can't get active sync to run from cd,click the install button then nothing happens.Tried downloading 3.7.1 and it got sent to a temporary internet folder and i can't get it to run from there.is it supposed to go somewhere else or am I doing something wrong? I had to uninstall my original 3.7.1 I downloaded ages ago as I had a problem with it that the troubleshooter couldnt find but now i cant get any to work.heeeeeelllllllllllppppppp!!!!
Guest Will Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 simply download as 'run from current location' Should all work then.. any other problems, download to desktop and run from there, if it does not run, you got issues! Will

Guest kelv23 Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 running Win 98.had a virus in there and all sorts of stuffs been going on,drivespace being eaten up when no new programs are being installed.can't understand why the cd wont work,click on install then get nothing.looks like I'm gonna have to get a new hard drive,its an old comp with only 4gb so its gonna have to be done soon anyway but I need to get active sync hooked up because i need to remove the sim unlock as i can't get texts from my girlfriend in Thailand (Orange say its not their problem,then maybe it is, we'll look into it etc,been going on for over a month with no real answer) plus I'm I'm getting tweak withdrawls....
