Guest jimi Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 Whenever I intall GnuBoy for my MPx200, I install it right, but when I goto open it, it goes to a blank white screen that gives the version number at the top left, then freezes, so I hit the home key, then hit the back arrow to go back to the GnuBoy, then it says GnuBoy on the top left, but thats all I get, I can't even use it! Anybody have any suggestions? jimi
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 Welcome to the site  You need to put the roms in the same directory as the gnuboy.exe It works very well on the MPX and you can now have a playable game with sound :D/
Guest DOOManiac Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 What awarner said. Just an added note to save a fellow MPX user hours of confusion: To get to the menu (to rebind keys and to quit) after you load a rom, push in the jog dial thing (that normally turns your volume up/down). Also note that while sound technically works (sound is outputted) it doesn't really sound correct. Unless somebody else played w/ the sound settings more and made it sound right...
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 The quality of the sound depends on the load on the cpu by the graphics. I have Zelda running very well and only get a sound drop when there are a lot of things happening at once. It's best to just play with the settings and see what you can find
