I am planning on making a video clip/report. I wanna make about 30min clip of 130min footage with adding/removing/editing soundtrack, cutting scenes, adding effects and so on. I was wondering if you could help me with a few tips on the subject please :( I am concerned with space, but have external 100GB spare.

- What software(s) do I need?

- How do I capture?

- Can/should I capture & encode at same time?

- How does audio editing work? Volume leveling and noise reduction?

- Any other tips or hints?

- How to make a DVD?

- How to encode it when finished editing?

Thanks for advice!

Yeah, Adobe Premiere is undoubtedly the best. Unfortunately, the price tag reflects this.
