Guest trioptimum Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I'm trying to re-organize my start menu into folders on my xphone runnign windows mobile 2003. Lots of files won't move, copy, etc from the phone (using explorer over activesync); it says 'Access denied, make sure the device has enough memmory, the file is not set as read only, and htat oyu have permission to opy this file type'. Arghh >! -matt
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Welcome to the site  Try rebooting first, any files in resident memory cannot be copied or deleted. EDIT You could also try using the excellent Smart Explorer this is one must have app along with Task Manager.
Guest trioptimum Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I got it to work on the phone, but it's a daunting task doing it o nthere . Any way to do it off the PC while the phones conencted to activesync?
