pocket divx

Wasn't there a pocket divx player for smartphon? I can barely find a trace of one existing now :D. I have lots of cool little divx videos I woudl like to play on there. Don't feel liek makign a ton of wmp or mpg files either... but has anyone tried pocket tv with mpeg, is it better than wmp? any advice form anyone> Thanks :lol:! -matt

Won't work for me; I downloaded the newest beta3f, and when it runs, it won't play any music ><. It usually ends up restarting itself. Think I mgiht justn eed to hard reset my phone as I've installed allot of junk trying stuff out.

Try a reinstall of PocketMVP before you do the hard reset. It might be that the installation has screwed something up (As mine did). The reinstall got PocketMVP working fine again. Also, if you have an MPx you'll need to get the proper patch from http://www.angelfire.com/alt/spv-soft/

Hmmph! Typical. There I am, blithely believing some stuff and someone comes along and proves me wrong. To attempt to amend:

Firstly, you don't need the patch if you're using 3f (Evidently), but I'm pretty certain you did with 3e. I was unaware of the latest release (I was perfectly happy with the working version I had).

As far as I knew, the patch allowed users of a different make of Smartphone (Almost definite it was the MPx) to actually use PocketMVP, thats all.

And now the link has died, God only knows where thats gone. I just knicked the link of Mono's site. And there was me hoping to get the source of the latest release (Last time I looked, which was a LONG time ago, it only had 3b's source...)

Ah well, thanks for the clarification awarner. You really do almost live in here!
