Guest kelv23 Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I'm gonna change networks from Orange and just wanted a bit of feedback on experience with other networks.Currently got an SPV on PAYG and living in the Leicestershire area.If anyones in the same sort of area and can give me good/bad coverage info, customer service quality (part of why I'm ditching Orange) or anything else of use please feel free to sing the praises or have a rant.
Guest morpheus2702 Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Afraid that I can't comment on coverage in Leicestershire, but if it wasn't for the lack of the latest handsets, T-Mobile would still have my custom. In my experience, they have the best customer service and the most polite and effective staff. On the other hand, Vodafone are the complete opposite in that NO-ONE knows who is responsible for what service and frankly, they don't f***ing care!
Guest James Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 even though they do great plans, dont go for three either! my girlfriend has a three phone, cs is rubbish. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest kelv23 Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I used to be on t-mobile and they were ok,my prob is I've got a virus on my comp I cant get rid of and cant install active sync to get the sim unlock working.
Guest mcwarre Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 I've got a virus on my comp I cant get rid of and cant install active sync to get the SIM Unlock working. Wipe the machine and start again. Or d/l stinger from Symantec website and make sure all your OS patches are upto date
Guest kelv23 Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 if i do wipe it will i have to install win98 from a cd cause its a 2nd hand comp and i dont have the cd,if it is embedded can i use any product key for it? a bit cautious as I've never had to do it before
Guest mcwarre Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Yes you will need the CD and product key. Try this Stinger it is free and should remove nearly all viruses. You should be able to remove the virus with it. Easier than rebuild if you're not sure.
