7 way

As the downleft does not work correctly at the moment.

Still trying to find out if this is Hardware or driver related.

I think it is a driver issue but I'm ripping the actual keypad apart soon

to see if I can confirm that it is definately not hardware.

It's still possible that there is an internal fault on the keypad membrane.

I've noticed when playing games on SmartNES that the MPx has issues with certain keys being pressed simultaneously- for example, playing Super Mario you can run forwards and jump, but if you do the same thing running backwards then the jump button doesn't register unless you let go of the directional button. My guess is that the diagonal problem is something along these lines.

Yep, I though I had posted the key press conflicts else where :?

If not here they are again

Nice key assignments :?

3 and UP

5 and UP

6 and Forward

7 and UP

8 and Right

* and Right

End Call replicates button 3

Answer replicates Soft 1

Home replicates Soft 1

Volume UPDown replicates Soft 1

Power replicates Soft 1

Back replicates Soft 1 (but back commands overwrite the fire button)
