Guest martin Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 If you turn the phone off & on does the top centre G return ? If it doesn't then there is either a problem with the GPRS server or communication to the server and you'll have to try again later. If it does then try to re-connect to the Internet.
Guest Zim Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Hey martin, well the G is on the top of the screen... but still getting the same error.. the gprs works cos i have it working on my nokia..so it should work on the SPV... any more idea's? "Z"
Guest martin Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Make sure that Auto detect settings is ticked in IE. All the GPRS connection data (+dialups, proxys etc) are created in the registry and it also details the Internet, Work, WAP and Secure connections with last attached connection. Point is that the registry may have something different to what you see in Settings. What I usually do is first check that the GPRS connection data is correct and then toggle the 'Internet connection' and press done to update. If that doesn't work then delete ALL existing connections and re-create only those you need.
