Guest bikoy Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 try to download these 2 programs theyre absolutely free, of course just be sure to have your smartphone syncd so they can detect it as a diff storage divice. http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm and http://www.pcinspector.de/smart_media_reco.../uk/welcome.htm - this 2nd file works well with image files

Guest john.-h Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 downloaded programs thanks but they both will not recognize the phone so cannot read sd card...... IS IT ME ......... help
Guest frazzel Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 also having the same problem spoken to orange, and they said to try my card in another phone, also take mty mem card back to where i got it from. Alot of cash wasted eh? i have a 256mb sandisc card
Guest john.-h Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 heard that one from orange before it means they do not know what to do and hope you cannot be bothered to either go to a shop a you don't know anyone with the same phone so give up when they said that to me i had already tried and they were stuck then,,, anyway i have just downloaded sp task manager from binarys.com/smartphone/default.asp and this has a card reader built in and formated my card so start again now..serves me right for showing videos off to friends and not saving on my hard drive so in future will be saving onto hard drive when active sync........
Guest zahar Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 I have gotten this happen to me too. My solution: I take out the SD card, and re-insert. If once doesn't do it, I retry a few more times. It works for me, and the files magically are able to be read by my O2 Xphone. (P.S. I am using the 256MB Kingston SD card)
Guest frazzel Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 Well Im sorted out now, so lets see what happens with card number 2
