What's up with HIGH Voyager $$ Prices $$ ??

I'm really starting to get put off on the prices of these things... Is it really that expensive to make or are they trying to scrounge as much as they can!!?? Compared to other electronics (PDA's, PPC's, Phones) these prices seem to be pretty high. Expansys kept raising their price periodically and their availability said 7 days for months.... I know if I don't want to (or can't) pay for one then I don't have to buy one... The prices just seem ridiculous to me and I'm not sure how they expect MS Smartphones to get popular with prices such as these...
