Guest samo123_uk Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Do you know if there are any bluetooth headphones out for the e200? I like the wired headphones that came with it but would like something with a bit more bass... Is there any stereo bluetooth headphones out that have a reletivly good bass on it?
Guest mardeman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I am currently using the Jabra BT200 bluetooth. The quality is really good, although I am having problems when sometimes it will not register an incoming call.
Guest samo123_uk Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Is this headset stereo? Only asking cus im looking for somehting to replace the stereo headphones that came with the e200.

Guest carlosp_uk Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 When you think about it, with the poor range of the SPV's bluetooth, it's very unlikely that a high enough bandwidth could be available for high quality stereo audio over bluetooth. I did a similar search - there's no bluetooth headphones currently on the market. A set of bluetooth speakers did premier at a technology show.

There's actually a company (Called XtremeMac, in case you're interested) that's currently working on a Bluetooth set of headphones for Apple's iPod jukebox. Seeing as Bluetooth seems to be a generic thing - although this isn't always the case with an SPV :D - I'd bet that they'll work with the SPV. Providing of course that they can be paired with other devices and they aren't somehow permanently paired with the iPod addon. There's some info about the iPod gear at: http://www.macnn.com/news/21819 There's some info about sending music over Bluetooth at: http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,3973...,1365178,00.asp
Guest carlosp_uk Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 The thing is, they wouldn't work with the SPV because it doesn't support connecting to a bluetooth HEADPHONE profile - i.e. when you fire up Media Player, it wouldn't route the output to the bluetooth headphones. You'd need a software update, I presume.
