Hello

I would like to modify my E200 homepage so that I can easily

enable and disable Bluetooth. This is to save my battery when

not needing it, but being able to easily enable it when jumping

into the car etc..

Can anybody give me some pointers for how to do this.

I have edited my homepage to change the plug-ins. I just do

not know what plug-ins are available to manage Bluetooth.

Thanks, Mike.

Check out the Simpsons2 skin on the Downloads page.

The action key takes you to Bluetooth settings when installed on the E200 instead of the intended Callface plug-in.

Better hurry before he sorts the E200 version :lol:

Hiya,

you can use the orange plugin

<plugin height="20" width="100%" handlekeys="FOCUS" clsid="{A2536C57-6AC2-4c31-9542-B144B0E9D077}">

  <format state="selected" padding-left="4" padding-right="4" bgcolor="COLOR_HOMEHIGHLIGHT" />

  <format padding-left="4" padding-right="4" />

  <background bgcolor="COLOR_NOTIFTRAY" />

 <shortcut width="100%" keys="!Dialog;~150;-T8;~150;-TACTION;~150;" icon="-2" height="20" action="storageWindowsStart Menusettings.lnk">

 <errortitle>

   <text>Busy</text>

  </errortitle>

 <errormessage>

    <text>Settings is already busy</text>

  </errormessage>

 <label>

  <text>Switch bluetooth</text>

  </label>

  </shortcut>

  </plugin>

Wasn't meant to be a dig at you, scottt :oops:

If you have an E200, you can amke use of some nice new features that Orange have added since the first release on the SPV and E100.

The shortcut now allows you to send keys after it has loaded an application using the keys attribute.

This code snippit

keys="!Dialog;~150;-T8;~150;-TACTION;~150;"

says wait for the "setting windows" called Dialog to load, wait 150 ticks send the "8" key click wait a further 150 ticks and then send the "action" key, the look up for the key codes is avaialable in the registry under the HKLMsoftwareOrange key.

This plugin is used to "write a message" or "create an appointment" and Dr Blow has also show several other examples on his cobalt theme so the plugin is highly configurable adn can be used to cut down on those key clicks to any application or frequently used feature.

Never crossed my mind that it might be a dig Stu. 8)

If someone can use my homescreen to their adavantage even if it's doing something I had not planed on then it's all good.

Thanks for the reply - especially the code and explanation statscat.

I will try this out. It looks like you can add shortcuts for anything

that is accessible through the menus by this macro method.

Cheers, Mike.
