Guest dgoutz Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 First of all, in order to explain the subject: Here in Greece where I live,Smartphones are not very famous and the 3 mobile communication providers don't pay much attention to them. For example the only Smartphone that has began to be advertised is the Motorola Mpx200 and even though I have sent e-mails, asking if there will be released any phones with Windows Mobile 2003 they keep on ignoring me. To the question now: If I buy the SPVe200 via internet and put my sim card here in Greece will I have any problems? Will I be able to download software from the Orange website or just because I am not an Orange subscriber I won't? Anyway do you believe that my thought is worth it at all or should I just forget it and wait until whenever these companies in Greece decide to do something?? Regards, dgoutz
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 The e200 is SIM locked so you would not be able to use it in Greece unless you buy the developers version which is a bit on the expensive side.
Guest kjk Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 you can also take a look on QTEK8080 :!:
Guest yoos Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 Not sure if these sites delivery to Greece, but you could check it out... I'm pretty sure all of these are sim unlocked, but I would ask before buying to be sure... http://www.modaco.com/viewtopic.php?t=1035...3554&highlight=
