Can't Syncronize and Change Settings

Could please someone help me beacuse i have a few slight faults, with my SPV which are that it worked perfectly up until a few days ago when I updated its ROM and a few things messed up. First of all my computer no longer recognises it when I try and syncronize it. And second, it doesn't allow me to change settings. But all the other phone's features still work, perfectly e.g. Calls, SMS, All the programs.

So can someone please help.

Try taking the USB cable out of one USB slot on your PC/laptop and plug it into the other one (assuming you have two or more USB slots!). New hardware should be detected and you should then be able to re-setup your synchronisation settings. After this in ActiveSync under File...Mobile Device you might have two devices listed. Delete the older one you originally had sync'd.

Not sure on the Change Settings problem I'm afraid. Haven't come across that problem or seen it talked about elsewhere on this site.
