Orneta Notepad: Error upon SMS send - What might be wrong?

Hello,

I am using a Qtek 8080 Smartphone (identical with the SPV E200) and I do not succeed in sending SMS with Orneta Notepad :-(((

Smartphone firmware: 1.7.10.2

Orneta Notepad version: 2.02 (from File: ornetanotepad2003_setup.exe)

Tried to install the software on Storage Card, then de-installed it and re-installed it in phone memory. Nothing worked.

Tried all combinations of numbers, either with the "+" switch on (and the number dialled in format countrycode-NDC-subscriber number, like 436641234567 and same with SMSC number) or without and both numbers in local format as well as full int. format.

I always get the error message "There was a problem sending your message".

I have no idea what I am doing wrong. Unfortunately there is no FAQ for Orneta on the web.

Can anyone tell me please what might be the reason and what I can do as a remedy ?

Sending SMS by the built-in Outlook client works, meaning all settings are correct.

(I experience an other strange error: upon exiting Orneta Notepad I cannot start it again
