Guest craigblade Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 I went into an orange shop a few months ago and got them to give me a dummy case for my SPV. However, I didn't want to change the casing yet as I still have 3 months left of my contract, and this would invalidate the warranty. When my contract expires though, is it easy enough to just change the casing myself, or are they any places I could send the phone to, to have the casing replaced? (so then I can sell it on ebay and it won't have a load of scratches on!!) craig
Guest goinnuts Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 quite easy take that little bit of rubber out (under the battery). then just unclip the casing you may need to go round the edges with something blunt, i used my sim card. then once the dark grey back has been removed theres a small screw near the infa red just unscrew and done. although make sure you take the speaker out of the case and put it in the new one.
