Guest TightGrip Posted February 5, 2004 Report Posted February 5, 2004 I absolutely loved the E100. So after saving my pennies I got a hold of an E200. Boy, what a phone. I can't recommend it highly enough. As well as countless tweaks and an intergrated camera there is also a much improved Windows Media Player. With smoother playback and the ability to pause. However after having the phone for a couple of days the sound has stopped functioning properly. This is only with WMedia. The phone ringtones/system volume is fine. The speakerphone is fine when making calls. But WMedia is not fine. I've checked the volume, turned it all the way up when the joystick, and I still have to put it to my ear to hear it. When I plug the headset in it is the same - V quiet. Has anybody got any ideas? I've probably missed something obvious. Your help would be appreciated. Cheers
Guest rortec Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Firstly, this is in the wrong forum, not sure if you have posted somewhere else but the search posts didn't work :) Anyway, i found on mine it was a simple as turning it off and back on again. Found this out after i made a load of ringtones, turned up there recorded volume as they were too quiet only to discover that the phone had gone into retard mode.
Guest ferret Posted February 19, 2004 Report Posted February 19, 2004 Use the volume keys on the side. If they're on 50%, WMP can only go from 0% to 50% using the up/down cursor keys
Guest spudboy Posted May 6, 2004 Report Posted May 6, 2004 my spv does it, really annoying, think they could have sorted some fix by now! just about to recieve my free e200 so i just hope it doesnt happen with that, although the guy in the shop said as soon as you get it home run the latest upgrade. why should we have to turn our phones off when it takes an age for them to turn off and boot up again
