Guest jo12 Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 I came to this site looking for help regarding the spv e100 and dont seem to be getting very far. What do you have to do to get a straight answer from anyone as to what i am doing wrong!!!!! What i am getting is passed around from site to site, that is all fair and well if you no what you are doing. And if i new what i was doing i would not be here in the first place
Guest martin Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 What's up Jo ? Have you had no luck yet in the application unlocking ? I'm just gonna try it now and see if the developers site is still working
Guest jo12 Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 The problem that ive got martin is that the phone is not registered in my name, it is not stolen , or blacklisted, but unless you are the registered owner of the phone then you get nothing, do not pass go and do not collect £200 pounds, playing monopoly is a dodle compaired to this. I feel like selling the phone, as it is no use to me if i cant use un signed software
Guest martin Posted February 6, 2004 Report Posted February 6, 2004 The problem that ive got martin is that the phone is not registered in my name, it is not stolen , or blacklisted, but unless you are the registered owner of the phone then you get nothingHi Jo The developers site is independant and they only ask you to register the IMEI on their database. It doesn't matter whether or not you are the registered owner of the phone with your network provider. On the SPV go to Programs-Settings-Data connections, Menu-Options and make Idle disconnect after= 5 or 10 minutes. You may need to register your phone on their database so try this  Note: For the application unlock to work you need to have a working Internet conenction being either Pass through or GPRS. Go to the following site and enter your mobile number in 'Download to my SPV' section http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/downloaddefq.aspx You should then receive a text message. Open the message and click on the Internet address contained in the text. This will download a program called action register direct to your phone. Run action register and select Menu-Register. If you succeed in doing all the above then you CAN unlock the phone. From the PC go to the following unlock page. http://developer.orangews.com/orgspv/comdefq.aspx Click unlock SPV and proceed Click I agree and OK Name : Your Name (any name) Email Address: Your E-mail address (any E-mail address) Mobile Number: +countrycode+mobile number (ie for the UK 07973 123456 becomes +447973123456) Note the missing 0 IMEI Number: Type *#06# into phone to get IMEI number Click OK You should get this message displayed on the PC Your SPV will be unlocked shortly and a message will appear on the screen of your SPV to confirm this. Please note that it may take upto 5 minutes for your device to be unlocked. This is the message that will appear on your SPV. The little G should then appear on your phone by itself to complete the unlock process [-o< If it doesn't work then let us know where it's failing.
Guest jo12 Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 i cant get the action register to run, i downloaded it to my phone ok, and when i go to run it, nothing happens. does it have to be an orange card that is in the phone when you do all this!!!
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 No you do not need to be using an Orange SIM card if you are not using Orange or do not have GPRS enabled, you need to use Passthrough conection to decert your phone.
