Need help removing SmartPortal, Funpix etc from home screen

On my phone (Smart Amazing Phone) the Full homescreen layout has these annoying icons: Smart Portal, Funpix, CardToons, Tones. I want to remove them but can't figure out how. I want to use the Full layout because of the Recently Used icons across the top, but these stupid icons get in the way of my lovely homescreen picture, and I keep accidentally clicking them.

I've already done a search in the forums here, but the responses I've found I don't fully understand. I think they're way over my head :lol: Can someone provide a step-by-step I can use to do this?

better go here (http://mobile.modaco.com/viewforum.php?f=43) and try to find a similar homescreen of the Full layout... i guess you'll find one that will suit your taste... :lol:
