setting the ringer

My i600 when receiving a phone call rings 4 times than goes into voicemail, can I set it to ring 6 or 7 times so I can catch the phone call?

If so how would I do this?

You have to call VZ Customer Supportand have them extend your ring time.

I just called VCS and the was told the default ring over is now 6 rings if your phone is on. If off, then 1 ring. She said it used to be 4 rings, but was changed a couple months ago and can not be changed in the new set-up.
