SMART - AMAZING PHONE unlock procedures?

I purchased a Smart Amazing phone in the Philippines the last time I was there hoping that I could use it here in the US,I later found out that the phone is "locked", can anyone help me get the information needed to unlock it.

If it has the 1.7 update then you cannot SIM unlock it unless you install a different operators update.

i have the same problem. tried installing other rom (qtek, orange) but i get "error 117 message" that says "Your SmartPhone model must be SmartPhone and beyond. Please check the vender web site and download a compatible the SmartPhone software update."

please help. (also not in phils.)

1)

I have update my spv to 1.7 smart and i can't downgrade to an other version smoller that 1.7.

if i want to downgrade to 1.6 orange or 1.5 i-mate or 1.3 smart it can't do it, staks at erasing 10%.

the update 1.7 smart can be updated to 1.7 smart.

the spvulock2 dosen't work.

what can i do ???

Can we find a way to find the file spvlock.exe and delete from the boot of the phone, which i can see from taskmanager.

that file blocks the phone to work fine with other sim.

What i make and work some...

i put near the spv an other mobile to make distraction from the network.

when i give the sim pass, the spv says searching so then i put the other mobile under the spv and make i call,

then i saw at the spv says PANAFON but at the graphic Aerial doesen't give a sing.

so then i make i call from my house to spv and ring OK and the same Reversely.

this i did't once's.

mabe their is a blackhole through the registri??

and also, I have "Canary MV v1.09" and i searched the web that I need to have a .98 version so i can unlock it. again,is there a software i can use to downgrade the version? so that i can unlock it?
