I get the looging on bit then it just asks me for my password again and again. I am putting it in correctly ..

Anyone know the answer to this? I have the same problem on Orange as well

Easiest way to sort this is via Orange customer service.

They can send an SMS to correct your settings.

When I had the same it was because I put the wrong user/pass details in :?

Don't know if Yahoo can do the same but you might want to go back to them for help

i'm having similar probs getting my orange email to work on my e100.

i've put in all the info in 'email set up', got 'set up complete!' then in 'send/recieve email' i'm asked for my password (that i had set up with orange email) & it keeps rejecting it. is there some other password i dont know about!?! it's infuriating. i have also tried downloading the email settings from the orange site, still won't accept my password.

does anyone know the incoming server name for msn hotmail (i assume the outgoing is orange as i want hotmail via orange gprs)...?

i don't know why it won't take my password, i can get in thru' orange world but then it asks for my number, not my password :?

You cannot access hotmail with pocket outlook, it doesn't make use of IMAP4 or POP3.

indeed. they've missed a trick there... hotmail on a WINDOWS phone.

is there anyway of getting at links or graphic content in emails (hotmail over internet explorer)? ive checked the box "show pictures" & unchecked "fit to screen". a.t.m im a bit peeved that my orange email wont work on my phone (except via wap) i could have just bought a wap phone & saved the bother.

kept trying & got there in the end. apparently there are two usernames involved in the set-up of orange e-mail.... one which i had nominated was sent with the settings to my phone - but it was the wrong one!! only after countless, fruitless attempts logging onto "send/recieve email" did i go routing round the orange site, went into "your details" & there it was - a different username to put into the phone.

begs the question though - why was'nt this username sent to my device with the other (correct) settings?

I found exactly the same, after alot of very frustrating messing about I found my "username" hidden away in my details on orange, entered it and bingo, works perfectly. I hadnt seen this username anywhere before! I get the impression that the whole orange email setup thing isnt very joined up.
