Urgent - Unlocked phone but can't install Apps

Please help - I have unlocked my phone through the orange developers website and also through the manual way, then tried to install Pocket TV and smart explorer but it will not install - it says installation in progress but then goes on to say that the application failed to install on my device. Why? There should be enough memory on there, I haven't installed anything on it yet.

What phone do you have?

What is the full error message you are seeing.

Also when you decerted your phone was the Developers site the first

method you tried? as this should be the only method you need.

I have got the Original SPV (one before the E100) and installed the latest Orange/Microsoft OS Update onto it - the one with task manager on it.

The exact message says - Mpegtv pockettv.cab failed to install on your device.

Can't understand why as it is apparently unlocked and there is sufficient memory on there according to task manager.

It really annoys me as it was perfect before I upgraded it to the new OS!

More info. - I used the "manual" process to unlock it first - running the application unlock with the files stored in the temp directory of the phone. When that didn't work, I used the official orange way and the phone made a connection and unlocked itself.

Ok if it just failed and that is the only message it should not be due to unlocking etc.

For a failed install you need to explore the phone and go to

IPSMWindowsAppMgrInstall and delete the contents of this folder.

Some versions of updates + Activsync may prevent you viewing the

contents of the Install folder.

Then after a reboot try and reinstall again.
