SPV and 1.6 problems

I have had my original SPV for 14 months without any problems what so ever.

Since upgrading to 1.6 my SPV has developed a number of problems:

- A couple of weeks ago, it reset itself, loosing all of my applications, backgrounds, sounds, etc.

- Yesterday my SPV locked up on the sunrise screen - it refused to load up resulting in only one course of action - hard reset (loosing all of my applications, background, sounds, etc.)

Has anybody else had a flawless SPV only to find that problems have happened only after upgrading to 1.6?

I have something els i kant downgrade my foon anymore and i want qtek on it not orange

Although I haven't had any problems myself (yet) there are a lot of posts in here about this,phones resetting etc.Somepeople put up with it while others downgrade to an earlier rom.Have a search round the forums and you'll find posts on this problem,not sure about the definitive solution though.

ive been using the i-mate rom for a good few months and not had any problems.. not sure if this rom works with orange though

i had that problem but that is now sorted out ,all i did was re install the new update over the old one and it works perfect now, you can install roms from other countrys but the only problem there is you have to manually fill in all you gprs and wap data + all the favs are not for your country,this can be removed and replaced by copys you can make before the update :wink: :wink: :wink:
