Hi m8s !

I've got a .mpeg video file I want to convert to a .wmv file for my SPV

I'm using the Windows Media Encoder 7.1 cos I'm running under Win98SE.

When I tried to play my brand new WMV file, I've pictures without any sound

Can someone help me please ?

Yeah I've seen this topic it's the one I followed...

...but that does not work, cos I don't have the Windows Media Audio 8 Codec.

I've the Windows Media Audio 9 Voice/Professionnal Codecs which aren't recognized by my SPV :?

I'd like to know if I can reinstall the older codecs for my video not to be mute

thx

if you can find the old version then you should be able reinstall it do a search in google or similar and you should find it or matbe some one in this forum can point you in the correct way , ive managed to get the new lord of the rings all 3 hours down to a 275mb file and it works perfectly on my e200 so good luck

Hey ! Watching TLOR on my phone would be very class lol

But u've got an e200 so you can watch WM9 videos !

I cannot :x

I think Microsoft should release an update even just for the WMplayer !

Good idea but why not just switch over to PocketMVP? It tends to be MUCH better quality than WMV, slightly smaller (LOTR came out at 156MB for me, and thats for an original SPV) and works on all variants of the Smartphone (Or at least I think it does).

Plus the guide pointed out above has a Full DivX guide as well, so its really easy to do anyway. And if you have any problems, I should be able to help.
