MPx200 Voice Tags Not Working

whenever i use voice activation it goes to my contacts.

i say "media", it repeats "media" then goes to my contacts instead of my media player. the same when i say "tv" or "nes" or even my partners name, it always go to my contacts. i tried a soft reset and i tried deleting the voice tag and using a new one but it always goes to you know where!
