Would that void my warranty? Also, what about if I app unlock it? I want to use it on o2, so need it unlocked really.

I don't see taht it would cause any problems at all. Unless during the SIM & Application Unlock processes you damaged the phone.....

Ok, that's cool then. I dont feel very confident about the stability of this phone from what I've read, but it's got good features, so I'm gonna get it anyway.

Pulse,

You think that this is unstable? Pah! My SPV was replaced 6 times for faults! I have never had to even soft reset the moto never mind hard reset it!

Well, from what I've been reading anyway. I never really looked into the SPV.

I bought mine locked to Orange a week ago. SIM unlocked it from the internet and app unlocked from alphflux's post. Working fine - then again as I bought it from ebay I didn't have to worry about a warranty. The GPRS/WAP settings were a pain to find but earlier found them on a post here - sorry can't remember the poster.

Rob

In the interests of actually being helpfully rather than lazy - the O2 settings are from MarkUK 5 down on page 2.

I didn't have to worry about a warranty.

You will have the remnants of the 12 month manufacturers warranty if anything goes wrong fault wise!

Like Rob, I got my phone a week ago from Orange, and after a "will I, wont I" debate, decided to use Alphaflux's unlock and have had no issues with it whatsoever...the only problem I had was when I loaded Doom and watched the phone unit transform into a sleeping tortoise....hmmm

But then, I suppose you can tweak what's being used in memory and it would work fine.......

Unlock Unlock Unlock....

Also Doom should not make the phone slow as such, could be you had some apps running in the background.
