Hi newbie here, can somebody answer a few questions for me?

1. I just had my E200 with 2003 OS, is it locked or unlocked? If it is locked how do I unlock it?

2. I have a couple of mpeg films on cd and I want to put them on my phone. I've downloaded Windows Media Encoder already, will this do the job or do I need some more software.

3. If I use Pass Through Connection on my Data Connections for Orange GPRS when I'm connected with the Cradle, will I still be charged by Orange for going on the Net, or will it just come under my PC Anytime Bill?

1, Your phone will be SIM locked and Application locked.

SIM lock cannot be removed at the moment but click on OTA

for information on how to remove the Application lock (decerted).

2, Best way to view films is with PocketMVP (but you will need to decert your phone first to be able to use it)

3, Nope as long as you have the phone set up correctly and do not see the G in the signal area you are not being charged GPRS only the cost of your usual PC internet connection.

Thanks for the reply. Just one more question that I should have asked, does unlocking my phone invalidate it in anyway or affect my contract with Orange?
