Guest Wildfire Posted December 18, 2002 Report Posted December 18, 2002 I have had the phone for about 3 weeks and can say that i love it, my 7650 has now been relagated to a back up handset. One thing i would love to see is a decent handbook to compliment the phone, the one that is in the box seems to spend most of its time going on about the products and services ot term and conditions. Orange made the same mistake with the 7650, come on Orange give us something that will help people use this phone to the best of its ability, make it easy to read and help to show the features that this excellent phone has. Regards Wildfire
Guest zenabi Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 I totally agree that the Orange manuals in general are poor. I'm sure a few of us on this forum could work together to make a supplement to the manual (or perhaps a full replacement!).
Guest madu Posted December 19, 2002 Report Posted December 19, 2002 Ermmmm... And who is up for doing that then?? I guess there are d***head TWATS in O. or their contractors who get paid to do that! What a crappy manual that is?!?? I've had bout 5 different phones now (not from O.) and their manufacturer's manuals are well detailed and informative.. Then O. comes in and it looks like the manual has been written by some serious s**t that played with the phone for 1 hour and decided to describe how obvious things are done - how do i make a fu***g phone call?? Dial a number and hit a Green button - very clever, thank you Mr Manual Author. I am very very very emotional about this issue - that manual has f.a. real information. It would be ok for a phone like Nokia NMT (old non-gsm), but even that had a much better one!! Argghhhhhhh!! :x
