For heavy use, which one is better? The MPX200 or the E200?

I'm seeing so many mixed views of this, so I want to see what everyone thinks in one thread...

I'm buying a smartphone tomorrow, but that's where my decisive streak ends...

I'm looking at either the MPX200, because of the looks, or the SPV E200, for the camera and new operating system.

On a daily basis, I will be:

Watching videos

Listening to music

Sending texts

Playing games

If the phone lasts 24 hours with use like that, then I dont mind, because I'm quite happy to charge it at night obviously.

Can someone please advise me on this, because I'm going around in circles. I think I would prefer the E200, because I want another camera phone, but will it last a whole day? Trying to decide before I go and buy one tomorrow.

i have an e200 and cannot comment on an mpx200 but i can myself play games on the phone and do everything i want from it the battery is not so big a problem( ok can be better and the upcoming update should help ) as if you put he e200 into its cradle and any usb port the phone will charge without the charger.the main thing is if you like the e200 looks better then go for the e200 as an upgrade from 2002 to 2003 for the moto looks like it will cost you ( going by the samsung smartphone with 2002 no free upgrade but a paid in the future) it comes down to choice the only reason the moto has more batery power is the screen switches off when the clam shell is closed when using as you say i dont think it will be much between them ,in the end you must choose what phone you sign a contract for i origonally wanted an mpx200 but got an e200 in the end because of the software and problems and delays that came from motorola if you want the camera and the moto then wait until the next version comes out later this year

For functionality, the E200 wins without any question... in some instances the chances are small but very useful; like keypad shortcut options in menus as standard. If you are willing to charge up daily I recommend the E200 too : ) Plus it has a much brighter screen which might be a big factor in using your phone and looking at it for extended periods of time.

Good luck on getting your new handset :)

Depending how you hold the phone :) at the correct angle the MPX is clearer and brighter, but only just so not a major thing.

Note to add Pulse ended up with an E200 so have fun with your new baby m8 :D

...it will definitly NOT make it for 24 hours if you use it like this. if you plan to do/receive some phone calls and use it as you said above you are good for 12 hours - which is good if you can recharge it at night as you plan to do...

cheers, lutz
