Help needed with making a cab file.

Hi I'm creating my first Cabbed screen and so I find some probs.

I follow the Cab instructions from Richie M see here:

Everything workes fine but I have 2 plugins used in the homescreen

the media player plugin and the rjshortcut.

I have the *.dll and in the cab file from the original is written "SelfRegister" This is what I want to do in mij cab also but can't fix that :roll:

The rjshortcut is more complicated.

This one is an cab and I was trying to cab an cab :twisted: but that doesn't work 8) .

Now you guess it I want it to be cabed in one cab so all users just have to install one file on their phone.

This is my inf file for so far, so if some one can help me out here with the rest...

Afraid I do not know the answer to your question, but a just a friendly suggestion/question to see if you checked with the creators of these plugins if they are OK with you repackaging them? I agree it would be convenient :)

It might be a better idea "not" to package the necessary plugins out of flexibility reasons, to avoid conflicts too. :)

although it's just my idea. and yeah you still have to have the authors permission to include it in your cab. :D

Jep that about the author is (halpf) ok.

I just have to wait for an reply on the WMP plugin.

The RJshortcut is ok and RemyJ helped me also to the stage everything is now:

RJshortcut in the skin cab and registered on the phone :D and he fixed some bugs in my *INF file.

(Works fine M8 thanx a lot!)

Eleventh is helping me out with the register locations of the extra screens like Menu background, contact background etc...

(I'm workin' on it M8 thanx a lot!)

So slowly I'm getting where I want and gettin' a lot of information I need for the future :)
