Profiles not working

Can anyone help as Orange don't seem capable. Did the ROM upgrade for it only to stuff up the profiles, well Orange swapped the phone for me. The replacement came with the latest ROM version, cool I thought, wrong I was. It's the same fault. Cannot access the profiles to edit and cannot select a different profile.

Have you tried doing a Hard Reset? as I have the 1.6 update and can change profile with out a problem.
