Problem sending e-mail

Please don't give me the obvious answer that many of you may expect to give........

"put smtp.orange.net as the outgoing server"

I have had that as a setting for about 6 months now, its only just started having trouble with the sending of e-mails!! :)

Wether I manually enter the e-mail address, or select it from the contact list, the mail sends fine as far as the phone is concerned (ie I get no error messages and it moves the mail over to the sent box!) but it doesn't appear in the inbox of the person I send it to.

I have tried several different addresses, none of them have appeared.

I can receive e-mail fine, wether I reply or create a new mail sending doesn't happen.

Any ideas?

i am really suprised by the lack of response to this post - not like Modaco users to be so out of ideas...

Luckily the problem has gone, leaving me with 20+ copies of e-mail with subject headings like Test, Test , Test 2 etc etc....

I don't know what the issue was, but I changed nothing and all of the test mails suddenly arrived at the addresses I was trying to send them to.

Strange because some took almost a day to arrive...?

Oh well - thanks for reading this anyway :)
