Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 It is possible but the SPV version was never released to the user. Also upgrading the SPV is a bit pointless due to memory restrictions. The version runs but is restricted as it was only a beta for testing.
Guest Smoovey Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 That's a shame... :) I like the new Windows Mobile 2003 splash screen a lot more than the 2002 edition. I'm surprised it hasn't been sold by Orange or Microsoft as an 'upgrade pack' though, a bit like how there are upgrade version licenses of Windows 9x and so on.
Guest BrAGoL Posted February 15, 2004 Report Posted February 15, 2004 @awarner do you have any idea on how big it will consume the IPSM space?
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted February 17, 2004 Report Posted February 17, 2004 IPSM (storage as it's called in 2003) there is not much differance, the problem is the physical memory that is the restriction. With 2003 on the SPV most of the Physical memory is used just to run the OS. That's why the E200 has more installed.
Guest spikex Posted February 18, 2004 Report Posted February 18, 2004 Where did msmobiles.com get the software for Windows 2003 to put on to their SPV???
